These Cemani Blue and Fibrocauna chickens are project hybrids that come from Ayam Cemani over Ameraucana and Fibrocauna hens. First gen layers lay blue/green eggs. Second gen may lay blue/green or cream colored eggs.

White Zombies are a project breed that is a cross from Ayam Cemani bred with White Leghorn. The hens show dark pigmentation around the eyes, wattles, comb, and feet but have white feathers and a few black throughout as well. They are curious and intelligent, and heavy layers of cream colored eggs. The males are recessive and will be all white like a White Leghorn.

Our Fibrocauna aka “Cemani Blue” are a project hybrid that come from breeding an Ayam Cemani rooster to a blue Ameraucana and a white splash Ameraucana hen. This cross results in birds with blue/gray plumage and dark fibromelanistic features from Ayam Cemani- black/gray feet, comb, wattles, and around the eyes. Second gen Cemani Blue are often referred to as a Fibro Easter egger or just “Fibrocauna”. They come from Cemani Blue hens bred to a different bloodline Ayam Cemani rooster. Second gen are usually all black, as the second gen will require further refining to add more contrast and desired traits. The first gen of Cemani Blue have been proven to lay all blue or green eggs. Second gen may lay either cream colored eggs or blue/green.

Cayuga ducks start out with eggs that have a black bloom which fades out like a printer running out of ink once they start laying. So far, raising these ducks with the chickens has been very interesting and fun.. ducks are a little more high maintenance though because of their water needs but they are so cute and very smart. 🖤
